Education Coordinator

Port Training Services (PTS), training division of the Port of Blyth, are a specialist training provider delivering fully accredited, educational, vocational and industry recognised qualifications for companies and individuals serving the Port & Marine, Warehousing & Logistics, Heavy Industry, Subsea and Offshore Energy sectors. Due to expanding activities, PTS are looking for a Education Coordinator to join our team.

The Role

To coordinate activity and administration associated with the delivery of both current and future vocational and education courses (apprenticeships, AEB funded programmes, etc.) that cover all PTS target markets.

To coordinate vocational educational training administration duties associated with Port Training Services, including full compliance with Ofsted inspections and the Education Inspection Framework. Be fully conversant with the apprenticeship funding rules as required under the apprentice levy. Have the knowledge and capability to complete all ESFA documentation and data returns. Assist with the completion of reporting processes for awarding bodies and funders. Assist with the coordination internal and external assessors, to ensure effective delivery of administrative and financial systems within the organisation.
