In recent years the Port of Blyth has worked extremely hard to build a mature supply chain of companies – both on site and locally in South East Northumberland – providing support services to the offshore energy sector.
We’re home to a range of suppliers whose services include: project engineering, specialist fabrication, vessel coded welding, hydraulics, transport and lifting & rigging to name a few. We also maintain annual contracts with some of the UK’s leading crane and SPMT providers to ensure that customers can benefit from flexible, cost effective and reliable heavy lift capability at all terminals.
We work very closely with the local planning authority and trusted constructed companies to deliver new Port facilities at competitive rates to meet the long term needs of our customers.
The Port’s supply chain database contains only organisations that have formed successful working relationships with the Port of Blyth. We continuously look to provide added value to our customers and as such we are happy to work with your trusted suppliers should that prove beneficial.
