A private 5G network-enabled Innovation Lab is set to transform the Port of Blyth into the UK North East's premier technology hub, providing unprecedented access to 5G technology for industries in the North East region.

The Port of Blyth is pleased to announce the addition of Mandy Rail, a freight wagon repair and maintenance company, to its growing list of tenants.

Port of Blyth are pleased to be supporting the visit of the ‘Galeón Andalucía’ which is a replica of the type of vessel that was used by the Spanish Crown for maritime expeditions during the 16th through the 18th centuries!

Martin Lawlor, the Chief Executive of the Port of Blyth, has been awarded an OBE in the Birthday Honours list in recognition of his service to the Ports, Maritime and Offshore Energy industries.
