12/02/2010

The Port of Blyth has announced the winner of it’s popular annual photo competition with the best snap for 2009 being chosen from over 250 entries. A delighted Rob Miller is pictured receiving a high specification digital camera from Port Chief Executive, Martin Lawlor, for his winning entry depicting the East Pier and bandstand at dawn.

The challenge is now back on to all amateur photographers in the region to send in potential winners for the 2010 competition with the best shot again receiving a top of the range digital camera and all short listed entries appearing on the Port of Blyth website.

A larger version of Rob’s winning shot can be viewed in all it’s glory at www.portofblyth.co.uk in the photo galleries.

Happy snapping!
