Annual Public Meeting

Port of Blyth officials are to welcome businesses and members of the community to the Port next week as their latest Annual Public Meeting takes place.

Scheduled for Monday 15th April, the meeting is designed to give those with business and community interests in Blyth information on the performance of the port in 2018 as well as sharing exciting plans for the future. The event is open to anyone who would like to attend via registration.

As a Trust Port, Port of Blyth is an independent organisation – neither privately nor publicly owned, and instead serves a wide range of stakeholders and routinely reinvests profits back into the company, as well as supporting numerous good causes through its community engagement programme.

As well as a presentation on the performance of the port during 2018 and exciting plans for the coming years, the event provides stakeholders with the opportunity to discuss any aspects of port activities with Commissioners and senior management.

Also on show will be the winning entries of the port’s latest Annual Community Photography Competition as well as a selection of previous winners.

To attend the meeting and/or propose any questions, interested parties must register beforehand via email to Gail Robinson at gail.robinson@portofblyth.co.uk or by telephone on 01670 357 000.

The meeting will take place at the Port Training Centre, Quay Road, NE24 3PA on Monday 15th April at 5pm.
