Commercial Training Coordinator

Port Training Services (PTS), training division of the Port of Blyth, are a specialist training provider delivering fully accredited, educational, vocational and industry recognised qualifications for companies and individuals serving the Port & Marine, Warehousing & Logistics, Heavy Industry, Subsea and Offshore Energy sectors. Due to expanding activities, PTS are looking for a Commercial Training Coordinator to join our team. Based at the all new, state of the art Energy Central Learning Hub, PTS are looking for an individual to coordinate PTS activity and administration associated with the delivery of current and future commercial training courses that cover all PTS target markets (Ports, Logistics, Warehousing and Offshore Renewables & Subsea).

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide a high quality service to all customers
  • Ensure all associated administration processes are managed and maintained to the highest level
  • Work with the Head of Training and instructors/assessors to ensure all administration associated with the delivery of commercial training courses is kept up to date, maintained and archived to the highest level
  • Work to suggest continuous improvement of administration processes
  • Support instructors/assessors to ensure resources are available for the delivery of commercial training courses.
  • Work with the Head of Training and finance department to track and maintain invoicing.
  • Active input into the development of new business (phone calls, emails, exhibitions, marketing campaigns)
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with external suppliers (face-to-face, telephone and email)
  • Support the wider PTS administration team, be aware of activity in the absence of colleagues
