The Port of Blyth has announced the winner of its popular annual photo competition with the best snap for 2012 being chosen from around 300 entries. A delighted Bill Coulson is pictured receiving a high specification digital camera from Port Chief Executive, Martin Lawlor, Chairman, for his winning entry depicting an offshore energy support vessel on Dun Cow Quay.
The challenge is now back on to all amateur photographers in the region to send in potential winners for the 2013 competition with the best shot again receiving a top of the range digital camera, all short listed entries appearing on the Port of Blyth website and a lucky few making it onto the Annual Community Calendar.
A larger version of Bill’s winning shot can be viewed in all its glory at www.portofblyth.co.uk in the photo galleries.
