Blyth Harbour Commission has made two key non-executive appointments to its Board of Commissioners that oversees the strategy and management of its operating division Port of Blyth.
Paul Hardisty, former Executive Director at Royal IHC and Richard Turner, current CEO at BEL Valves and Non-Executive Director of the Offshore Wind Growth Partnership, have been appointed as Commissioners at the Northumberland based port as it continues with ambitious growth plans in particular relating to opportunities in the offshore energy and renewables sector.

Both appointees possess considerable senior level offshore energy and renewables industry knowledge and experience and will contribute to future growth and prosperity at an exciting time for Port of Blyth.

Appointed for an initial 3 year term, Mr Hardisty and Mr Turner will pick up the offshore energy and renewables sector mantle from departing Commissioner Dr Alan Lowdon who has completed his term of office.
