Port of Blyth is to host its Annual Public Meeting 2022 as a hybrid event, offering stakeholders the chance to attend in person or online, to ensure that it remains an event open to all.
The Port greatly values the input of all our stakeholders at the meeting and is looking forward to welcoming attendees back to the Port Training Centre, whilst allowing those who can’t attend in person to join via Zoom webinar.
Scheduled for Monday 25 April at 5.30pm, the meeting is designed to give those with business and community interests in Blyth information on the performance of the Port in 2021 as well as news of exciting plans for the future.
As a Trust Port, Port of Blyth is an independent organisation – neither privately nor publicly owned, and instead serves a wide range of stakeholders and routinely reinvests profits back into the company, as well as supporting numerous good causes through its community engagement programme.
The Annual Public Meeting 2022 will include:
- A presentation on the performance of the port during 2021 including financial results
- The launch of both the Port’s Annual Review 2021
- A live Q&A with Chief Executive Martin Lawlor and Chair of the Board of Commissioners Geoff Hodgson. Questions are encouraged and will be accepted beforehand via email to enquiries@portofblyth.co.uk
Attendees in person will also be able to view winning entries from the Port’s popular Annual Community Photography Competition 2021, network with senior management from the Port and enjoy refreshments provided. The in person event will be held with COVID safety measures in place – for any further information please contact enquiries@portofblyth.co.uk.
The Annual Public Meeting is open to anyone who would like to attend via registration beforehand.
