Equinor Innovation Day Highlights Blyth’s Renewables Rise

07/01/2019
Equinor Innovation Day

A high profile innovation day aimed at exploring next generation operation and maintenance concepts for future offshore wind projects is to be hosted at the Port of Blyth.

Leading renewable energy firm Equinor is organising the event, which will take place at the Port Training Centre, in partnership with NOF Energy and the ORE Catapult.

During what promises to be an exciting full day’s programme, Equinor is keen to engage with the supply chain, research institutes and universities to identify new innovative solutions to maximise project value and start the journey towards “human free” O&M.

With ORE Catapult based in Blyth and the Port considered one of the UK’s leading offshore energy support bases and with many offshore and renewable energy focused clients based on site, Blyth was seen as the ideal location for the conference which will take place on Wednesday 30th January.

Anyone interested in attending should complete this survey. Deadline to register your interest: Friday 11th January 2019.
