Port of Blyth Seeks New Commissioner

Dr Alan Lowdon

This position on the board has become available following the departure of Dr Alan Lowdon, who has completed his term on the board.

Geoff Hodgson, Chair of Blyth Harbour Commission, said: “On behalf of the rest of the board, management and staff at Port of Blyth, I’d like to thank Alan Lowdon for both his expertise and dedication throughout his time as a Commissioner during a period of sustained growth at the Port, particularly in relation to offshore and renewable energy.
