Blyth Harbour Commission, which oversees the strategy and management of its operating division Port of Blyth, is seeking to appoint a non-executive board member (Commissioner).
The successful applicant will play an active role in delivering future growth and prosperity for the benefit of all stakeholders at an exciting time for the Northumberland port as a number of major development opportunities are coming to fruition.
Applications are invited from candidates who can demonstrate proven experience at a senior level of business management and a knowledge of and active involvement in the offshore energy sector. They will also be able to demonstrate an interest in and knowledge of the region and Port of Blyth and will be appointed for an initial 3 year term.

This position on the board has become available following the departure of Dr Alan Lowdon, who has completed his term on the board.
