Port of Blyth held its Annual Public Meeting 2020 this week, hosting it online for the first time as a result of COVID-19 welcoming all stakeholders including the community of Blyth to hear news of the Port’s performance in 2019 and its exciting plans for the future.
The Port is an independent statutory Trust Port that serves a wide range of stakeholders including the community and as such the Annual Public Meeting forms an important part of the engagement process with all stakeholder groups.
Hosted by the Chair of Commissioners Geoff Hodgson, more than 100 registered guests joined the online meeting which featured a presentation on the Port’s operational and financial performance during 2019 from Chief Executive Martin Lawlor.
A recording of the event is available to view here, whilst notes of the meeting are available to view here.
Although not previewed during the meeting as in previous years, the event saw the launch of the Port’s latest promotional film which can be viewed here. The Port’s Annual Review for 2019 has now been published and contains full details of the Port’s financial performance during the year. A PDF version of this document is available to download here.
