All Welcome at Annual Public Meeting

Port of Blyth will open its doors to all stakeholders in the Port including the community of Blyth soon as the organisation’s Annual Public Meeting takes place.

Scheduled for Monday 9th April, the meeting is designed to give those with business and community interests in Blyth information on the performance of the port in 2017 and plans for the future.

Port of Blyth is an independent organisation neither privately nor publicly owned, and instead serves a wide range of stakeholders including the community. Known as a Trust Port, this means profits are routinely reinvested back into the company for the benefit of all stakeholders with support offered to good causes through its community engagement programme.

As well as a presentation on the excellent performance of the port during 2017 and exciting plans for the coming years, the event provides residents with the opportunity to discuss any aspects of port activities with Commissioners and senior management.

The meeting will take place at the Port Training Centre, Quay Road, NE24 3PA on Monday 9th April at 5pm. To attend the meeting or propose any questions, interested parties must register beforehand via email to gail.robinson@portofblyth.co.uk or telephone on 01670 357 000.
